Hosted inboxes#
Hosted inboxes are the fastest way to start. InboxTron creates an address under inbox.inboxtron.com and the mailbox can immediately be used through the web app, REST API or MCP.
Custom inboxes#
A custom inbox uses a verified domain you control. Custom domains require a paid account and DNS setup before addresses can be created.
Monthly message usage#
Inbound and outbound messages share the account's monthly message allowance. The default configured limits are 50 messages on Free and 2,500 messages on paid access.
Trash#
Deleting an email moves it to Trash. The default purge period is 14 days. Restoring before purge returns the message to the active mailbox.
API tokens#
API and MCP access use Bearer API tokens created from your account. Treat tokens as secrets and revoke tokens you no longer use.
