Available tools#

  • list_mailboxes — list active mailboxes and message counts.
  • list_emails — list active email in a mailbox.
  • read_email — read one email.
  • search_emails — search subject, body, sender or recipient.
  • send_email — send from a mailbox.
  • reply_email — reply from the same mailbox.
  • mark_email_read — mark an email read or unread.
  • delete_email — move an email to Trash.
  • list_deleted_emails — list Trash.
  • restore_email — restore an email before purge.

Typical agent flow#

An agent can call list_mailboxes, inspect mail with list_emails or search_emails, read the relevant message, then call reply_email. InboxTron keeps the email identity separate from the agent runtime.

Trash and retention#

delete_email is a soft delete. Deleted mail can be restored before the configured retention period expires. The current default retention period is 14 days.
