Connect your domain#
Custom domains are available to paid accounts. Open Domains, enter a domain you control, and InboxTron generates the DNS records required for Amazon SES authentication and inbound email.
Add the DNS records#
InboxTron shows each record as a table with Type, Host / Name, Value / Target, Priority and Status. The page provides copy buttons for the host and value.
The setup includes SES identity verification, three DKIM CNAME records, and an inbound MX record. InboxTron also recommends a DMARC monitoring record.
Check DNS#
Use Check DNS after adding the records. A domain becomes Ready only when identity verification, DKIM, and the public inbound MX record are active.
Create a custom inbox#
After the domain is Ready, choose Create inbox, select Custom domain, and create an address such as agent@yourcompany.com.
Removing a domain#
Removing a domain disables its InboxTron custom mailboxes and removes the domain from the receiving configuration. Existing message history is kept rather than silently deleted.
